Named for a rare kind of draconian pegasus only found here, the Ebyss Canyons are a long stretch of towering mountains and low winding river valleys leading out of the Highlands to the west. Their eastern border leads into the desert.

This great desert starts out as rocky steppe lands and painted deserts at its borders, but turns into a sea of dunes that stretches seemingly forever. A few oasis pockets are found here and there. The people found living here are fierce and untrusting. Beware to those who merely travel through.

The very name of this mountain range found to the west and south of the desert means fire. Although rich tropical forests can be found in the valleys and peaks are often snow-capped, this is a range of purely volcanic mountains.
