Name: Cian Dalue.Birth Animal Description: The Black Dog, ah, doesn’t that inspire fear? To a chosen number who have experienced the Barghest or heard the frightening tales surrounding the black dog ghosts… they are. Saying to be bringers of death, bad luck and all else, hell will befall those who lay their eyes upon the enormous black entity. Or so is rumor. Cian’s birth animal, needless to say, was this terrifying beast. Large and beastly he stands large and hefty. A massive, shaggy black dog he seems shrouded in shadow and pitch darkness, with only his ghastly white eyes visible. He bares a long snot with row upon row of yellow teeth and a silent manner that is simply dreadful. Upon the dark roads that he haunts (nights of fog compel Cian to wander) there is nothing, and by this we mean absolutely nothing, to tell of his coming sav’ the click of his black claws and the humungous, shadowy shape that is. Standing roughly at three feet tall and filling every inch of his canine-figure he’s leggy, indeed, but also well-muscled and shaggy. Long and lengthy he has a full stride and a phantom’s demeanor. Enigmatic, illusive, wraithlike, eerie, and full of a seemingly horrible elegance and peacefulness it isn’t untrue that he and other black dogs have been called the Reaper’s Companion and Hell’s Hounds. Yet, the ferocity and malevolence associated with black dogs is often misleading. The role that Cian plays changes with those he meets. Every ill-deed is remembered, every grievance against the faes rectified. To those who do not do well by the Good Folk, the black dog is truly something the fear. To those who do well? Ah, the black dog is a fair companion. Terrifying still, but guarding against danger while wandering the road.

Gender: Male.
Race: Fae.
Age: Adult.
Season: Fall.
Element: Fire.
Alignment: Light.
Birth Animal: Black Dog.Fae Form Description: In looks, as a fae he is much brighter and colorful. Vibrance as well as a boldness seems to enrich the lad and make him appear stronger and more… severe. Though he doesn’t change in height, he seems taller and better defined. His hair is spikier, his eyes, darker and his appearance, in general, more harsh and edged. The correlation between he and his mortal form is distinctly clear, yet the withdrawn, quiet individual he appears as a human seems lost in the smoldering, callous individual he appears as fae.
Eyes: Dark brown with some reddish bits.Human Form Description: In the form of a mortal being Cian blends remarkably well. Of a decent height and amenable weight he seems… normal, plain, common. Dark brown hair is short and common and his eyes are a mild amber. Though often then not he appears the somber, quiet sort he holds with him an un-place-able elegance as well as an illusive handsomeness that all Fae seem to have, in varying doses. His doses being the more subtle of kind that lingers about his strong features and enigmatic personality.
Hair: Short, spikeish with varying flints of color.
Height: 5'11.
Build: Still lean yet… somewhat broader in appearance and lankier.
Distinguishing features: He has a small, yet ugly burn mark on his left shoulder. Seems to have been the result of a coal poker?
Eyes: Amber.Personality: Cian, upon first notice is a rather dreary fellow. Mild mannered and haunting in appearance he stands off to the side with an enigmatic elegance and an illusive temperament. A dark gentlemen, he’s apt in keeping to himself and remaining a private, silent individual. He has few smiles that are real, but has perfected the fraud grins he often wears in making them acceptable, even if his eyes don’t mirror the joy his lips express. He is peaceful, composed and sure. A relaxing fellow to find ones self around, someone one senses one can trust… even if he remains aloof and an arm’s reach away. He isn’t close to people, nor has ever (since Katherine) invited someone closer then great lengths. Yet, despite himself he has been rehearsed in manners and is quite a gentlemen. One of politeness and courtesy he is a kindred sort. Pleasing to the eye and kind with his words, he’s many regrets and much sadness in his heart, but he knows not to shun happiness where and when it comes. He is a good companion, a listener, someone who is patient and soothing. He is strong and he is sure, someone steady and solid in a world that is constantly spinning and throwing people off their guard. The faeyrie is also insightful, knowledgeable, and clever. Though quiet, he is not dumb, and those who invite his opinion often invite great advice… and those who invite his friendship often invite great loyalty. For these reasons Cian is a rather particular faeyrie… not ones usual by any means.
Hair: Short, dark brown.
Height: 5'11.
Build: Slimjim. ;P -joking- His build is basic. Lean and sinewy, he isn’t a particularly muscular individual but… in the same way he’s also a fae of fire. Who needs brute strength when one has privy to the most destructive of elements?
Distinguishing features: He has a small, yet ugly burn mark on his left shoulder. Seems to have been the result of a coal poker?
Strengths: Knowing things that (often) he shouldn't know. Being aware of those around him and their intentions. Being able to seem utterly harmless, for the sake of his own safety. His sensibility, despite the fact that its too much of a human trait. A gentlemen in every sense - he exhibits manners and is very keen on courtesy.History: Cian’s life has spanned countless years, some of which happy-filled and others agony to remember. Most of them, we most divulge, aren’t things he wishes to talk about, however. Though young by faeyrie means he still has lived and has still experienced life. Unfortunate isn’t what one would call his life - heavens no. But, accidentally mistake-filled might be. Cian carries with him many regrets, a number of shameful recollections and a bit of (a lot of) … guilt. He dislikes what he has done and isn’t fond of his history and… is clearly aggressive and hostile towards those who know him in full and remember the events of his past. But, we can tell vaguely of his roots, as private as he is he can‘t denounce his ancestors and knows better then to even attempt to. Cian was born a faeyrie, just as his ancestors were. He entered existence under the black dog, with fire at his finger tips and in the midst of fall. Lad was (and is) a spitting image of his grandfather (both as a faeyrie and black dog) and was cared for by his beloved parents until their regretful demise. … Regretful even if they died peacefully as mortals. Deciding to end their days in the human lands they left the Faery Realm and never returned… and with that they became mortal and aged. … And with that they lost their memory of their origins and him. Sad that memory loss doesn’t work bother ways, yes indeed.
Weaknesses / Flaws: His deep pity for humanity and its mortals. His disgust for the cities and the corruption within them. Deep-seated fears of becoming mortal from staying in the mortal realm too long. Forgetting the other realm. Long held regrets that very much eat him alive. The sadness and dread he seems to carry about and distract him. Meddling. A desire for knowledge.

Dislikes: Chocolate. Cities. Corruption. Arrogance. Elevators. Waste. Excess. Measurements. Fear. Wallpaper. Carpet.
