Name: Cael D'thurr Nickname: Cael of Nightgale Gender: Male Race: Fae Age: Adult Season: Spring Element/Powers: Water/Wind: Storm, Shift: Alternate animal form. Alignment: Seelie Animal Form: Black Leopard Animal Form Description: Though his birth form is a full size black leopard panther, Cael prefers to use the form of the smaller black domestic cat which retains some of the leopard in its facial features. Eyes on both accounts are a vivid light emerald color. They are known to glow when he is angered. On occasion, he is also known to take the form of a black falcon, his eyes continue to hold telling green irises.
Fae Form Description: Tall and lithe, yet not too tall, standing at six feet and weighing in around 140lbs. He is light for his height as his bone structure is thin like the feline he is. Long fine hands end in retractable manicured claws. Glamourless, his lime-emerald eyes carry a perpetual ambiance. He possess long lightly waving raven hair streaked with occasional locks of chocolate and gold. His face is long and angular with golden skin coloring it. A few spots and rosette markings are found like moles about his body. He has a thin scar running vertical against his right eye. As for dress, he prefers to wear silky things which are typically custom green accented black surcoats and sometimes robes inspired by old Chinese and Japanese nobility clothing styles. His shoes are typically black deerskin boots.
Human Form Description: Cael's human form is only slightly different from his fae form. Glamour hides the fae ears, the claws, the scar by his eye, dims his skin to a lightly tanned fair hue, and hides the glow of his eyes except when bursts of quick anger disrupt his illusion. His hair appears completely raven black, glinting blue. He ties it back with an emerald in silver clasp at the nape of the neck.
Formal wear in human crowds consists of an impeccable black silk tux, a mint green shirt, and black satin tie. A blue girl rose or a blue and green small hydrangea blossom often accent his lapel, and black shined oxfords are found on his feet. In casual settings, he is still found in black expensive suits and cool pastel shirts with black tassel loafer Florsheim shoes, how ever the suit is always downplayed to look a bit more casual in light cotton fabrics.
Personality: Cael carries himself as a well-educated, well-versed, gleaming example of what peerage is suppose to be. He is vain and rather narcissistic, enjoying looking and acting better than those around him. Though, he does give each their due according to rank. Most of the time he enjoys reading or engaging with others in intellectual conversation. Due to his high-headedness, he often views humans as farm animals that each have there job to do in running the farm. He is constantly surprised by the "oxen's" ability to create interesting new technological marvels. Most startling those being the stereo, the cd, the flat screen tv, the dvd player, and the computer which he is still a bit perplexed by.
Despite the smooth attitude of cool, calm, and suave that he presents, Cael is well known for his ill temper. When startled or pushed into a fierce rage, he can easily "break" his glamour and subconsciously spawn storms to try and vent his aggression in a safe manner. That does not meant that he won't still pin someone to a wall with his claws. His retainer, Amos Crookfeather, some how becomes the one to most often catch the bad side of this noble fae.
History: Cael has long been a part of the noble Spring court, yet has never made an official move for the crown. Instead, he played an aloof role in the courts, showing up for major events, but otherwise keeping to himself. He is notorious for flirting with and deflowering naive young wallflower maidens, usually of the human variety, who sought to know what it was like to lay with a man.
There came a time, though, when Cael grew bored of wandering. So he gathered together a group of friends and built his own little court that danced between the mortal world and Faery. Now, he's taken up residence in a restored, yet glamoured to still be ruined, castle on a hilltop in the hills of Ireland. A small farming town sits below, straddling a small river just a short drive away from the bigger city.
