Halflings
Weres. Weres are usually the result of a Seelie Fae crossing with a mortal. Their animal is determined by the fae's animal form. IF two Weres of Compatible Breeds [cat and cat or dog and dog] mate, they are capable of creating were offspring. Through this manner, Weres are able to increase their gene pool and variations, often creating combinations that would otherwise be impossible without the fae magick to help allow bizarre crosses to succeed. Were magic is heavily affected by the power of the Moon, which (in this game) is the origin of the Full Moon Werewolf myth.
The New or Dark Moon is a period when the Were's psychic powers are increased. These powers are a mix of their human half and their fae half, and generally correspond to the element of the fae parent.
Water = Emotion skills
Fire = Kinetic skills
Air = Sound skills
Earth = Sight skills

Vampires. Technically there are TWO kinds of Vampires which are only related in the origin of the Vampire gene. The Halfling Vampire is a result of the crossing of an Unseelie Fae and a Mortal. This produces a fae-like being that is highly sensitive to light, natural light in particular, thus their instinct to sleep during daylight hours. Sunlight merely burns their skin at a much faster rate than humans. Some Unseelie Fae spontaneously combust, therefore, Vampires have long been taught to avoid the sun at all costs. However, in the case of the Halfling Vampire, the individual has the same ability as the Weres to transform into an animal, thus the common bat sightings in Vampire attack cases. The vampire's animal form would be determined by the animal form of the fae parent. Like the Were, the Vamp Physical and Psychic skill powers are amplified by the Moon.
Zombie. In rare cases, usually all from a certain individual that carries the rare Zombie Mime parasite, the mutation from Mime Syndrome instead creates a flesh eating zombie by magically altering the inflicted mortal's DNA and cell structures to create a creature that again seems to be a living dead. In the case of the zombie, the body grows to resemble a different kind of deathly Unseelie that looks like a walking corpse complete with lesions and often pieces missing as these creatures have bodies that reject malfunctioning parts in favor of regenerating new ones. Zombies are highly combustible and tend to fear open flame as it will kill them as quickly as a fire cracker explodes into sparks.[/ul]

Known Fae-Based Diseases
Mime Rabies. This is a startling new disease that is still baffling fae medical experts. The disease is clearly a virus, however, the symptoms it carries are quite bizarre. It may have originated during the use of nuclear weaponry and only now are the effects being seen in the faes. Whatever the cause, the result is a virus that begins as a faery brand of rabies transmitted by saliva contact, yet in its advanced form, it begins to resemble symptoms of Zombie Mime Syndrome before killing the victim. By the end, the corpse is reduced to a mummified-looking state. However, faeries usually decompose almost instantaneously. Halflings afflicted will, however, leave behind corpses that turn to dust over a period of months rather than minutes. A few reports have come in of victims surviving this rare disease, but all reports were from halflings.
