Her voice could be heard all through the house, screaming into the phone she slams it down and lets a long line of obceneties slip from her lips as she stomped her way down the stairs from her room and goes into the study and slams the door, cussing all the way and her face growing redder by the minute.
How dare he do that to me! How could he? The little slut of a secretary deserves him! ~flopping down into the chair she closes her eyes, rubbing them hard and growls. At least she never slept with him, she gave herself that much. But, through the entire things she lost her job. He lied to her boss and no matter what she coudl say, nothing helped. She was unemployed and dependent totally on the estate. Part of her didnt mind so much. For some reason the estate finances always remained in the black. Things sold and bills were paid though to this point, she still didnt understand it. When she got here, there was hardly enough money to pay the bills for another month. Now it seemed there was enough to support the fancy life her Uncle once led, or seemed he did anyway.
~not able to concentrate on anything she headed outside, wearing her usual jeans and tight shirt she quickly saddled the stallion and headed out for a much needed, long run. By the time they were both winded she was several miles from the main house and glad of it, blaming the wind on the tears in her eyes and the lack of being used to such a long ride for the pain in her chest. She totally pushed away the way she felt about what Jason had done. Getting off the stallion she led him down the stream banks, enjoying the walk herself and giving him a breather, stopping here and there for him to get a drink and graze a bit. A few memories returned but she was glad that Silver assured her the animals and humans changing forms was simply a dream and nothing to concern herself with.
