~the trees were swaying and blurry, the grass even seemed to be moving under her sore, bleeding hooves as she struggled with each step forward. Her lungs were on fire, her eyes watering with pain and the branches and leaves scraping them as she darted through the forest, across one road, then the other, clearing after clearing she passed through, hearing the hunters closing in on her she pushed harder and harder until she was near exhaustion. Ignoring the fire burning in her hind quarters the young butterscotch colored fawn charged through the bushes and paused, only a minute, long enough for blood to once again run down her leg and pool at her hoof and decide to take shelter in the stables and hobbled inside, ducking into the nearest empty stall and collapsing in the hay.
~her breathing came fast and heavy, her sides moving up and down and quivering as the pain seeped back into her conciousness. Raising her head she looked at her left flank, an arrow was sticking out, having been broken off somewhere along the way it had torn at her delicate skin and made a huge gash, blood oozing out of it and muscle nearly able to be seen through it. Groaning out load she lays her head back down, cursing herself for once, for not listening to her parents and friends. Now she had no clue where she was or if she would even live long enough to be found. The only hope she had was the smell of human and horses that was fresh in the stables. Hopefully someone would come to her aid and not butcher her as the hunters so badly wanted to do for their winter meat and her delicate hide~
~wanting badly to change from her deer form into her human form she cried out in pain, it was to much, she was to weak and the ability was to new in her. struggling against the heavy fog that threatened to take her conciousness she kicked a bit with the injured leg, the hip and flank both torn into with the arrow's angle. gasping at the pain of it as her hoof hits the wall of the stall her eyes roll back and blackness overtakes her~
